Dr. Eima Zaidi has been in practice since 2002. She is a graduate of Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan, where she received her bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. She completed her internship and residency at Mckeesport Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Zaidi completed her infectious disease fellowship training at the University of Connecticut. She worked in private infectious diseases practices in Washington DC and Chicagoland area for several years before moving to Birmingham, AL in 2009.
Dr. Zaidi is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, diplomate of the American Board of Infectious Diseases, member of Infectious Diseases Society of American. She is associated with Brookwood Medical Center, Grandview Medical Center, Shelby Baptist Medical Center, HealthSouth Lakeshore Rehab Hospital, and Select Specialty Hospital. Her expertise include HIV, bone and joint infections, wound infections and other general infectious diseases.
Dr. Zaidi is married to a physician and they have two children. She enjoys reading, traveling and being outdoors.
