Dr. Eima Zaidi is one of the co-founders of Birmingham Infections Diseases and Infusion. She has been practicing Infectious Diseases for the last 22 years with focuses on general ID, hospital acquired infections and HIV.
Dr Zaidi went to St. Joseph’s Convent College and obtained her medical degree from Dow Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at McKeesport Hospital at University of Pittsburgh. She then completed her Infectious Diseases fellowship from University of Connecticut in Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Zaidi is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. She is an active member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Medical Association. She is affiliated with Brookwood Baptist, Shelby Baptist, Princeton Hospital and Grandview Hospital.
In her spare time, she likes to travel, run and enjoys outdoor activities and dining out with her family. She also actively volunteers at a local community clinic providing primary health care to uninsured patients.
