Birmingham Infectious Disease & Infusion opened the first free-standing infusion center in Birmingham, Alabama opening in 2016. Drs. Billy Lapidus, Anurag Gandhi and Eima Zaidi had a passionate vision as they have and continue to offer patients needing intensive antibiotic therapy and long-term biologic infusion therapies in a unique outpatient treatment setting. With over 20 years of experience in our group of physicians, IVs are our specialty for both complex infections and illnesses as well as wellness therapies. Drs. Harpreet Arora and Lily Colpitts are our most recent additions both bringing much expertise and new training to our team. We are dedicated to providing patient care in all areas of infectious disease including bacterial, viral and fungal infections in the hospital, outpatient and infusion center settings.
